Had fine stay on this visit and the weather was wonderful. Marvellous and beautiful location - within short walking distance to everywhere we needed.

The bed was comfy, the bathroom was luxurious with a balcony. the room had coffee facilities and air conditioning. the hotel is in a marvelous and lovely location next to the Edinburgh Book Festival, close to a castle and a theater.

Functional room and staff is always extremely friendly and mostly very friendly.

Overall it's wonderful hotel, excellent value, and the facilities are fantastic. Excellent service, they provide a private parking and free Wi-Fi. The location is great and stunning if you want to see a castle and a theater very close to the property. A reasonably priced restaurant has fantastic food;))

Lovely upgrade to a family room with two double beds, clean and spacious. Early check-in and complimentary goodies in the room. Excellent location near the tram system and a short walk to popular attractions. Helpful and friendly staff. Enjoyable stay!

Our stay at this hotel exceeded expectations. the exclusive amenities, including the spa and wellness centre, sauna, and Jacuzzi were impressive. the service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to fulfil our luxurious needs.

Although our stay was nearly perfect, we experienced a minor issue at the bar when we were asked to leave earlier than expected. Despite this, the staff handled the situation professionally and offered alternatives.

Our stay at the Kimpton was absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail and personalized service really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We were upgraded to a spacious and beautifully furnished room with comfortable beds and a luxurious rainfall shower. The hotel even provided quality coffee and fresh milk in our room, a small touch that made us feel like they truly cared about our comfort. We also enjoyed the "social hour" in the bar, where we got to socialize with other guests over complimentary wine. The late check-out time allowed us to have a leisurely morning before departing. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in a very nice and convenient area, close to all the sites. The room was a good size and bright with a comfortable, king-size bed. The staff were extremely helpful and always spoke to you in a friendly and polite way. The breakfast was good and the service was excellent.

Some small things, such as the slippy and small bath and the need to ask for extra butter at breakfast, were a bit disappointing.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel staff at Kimpton went above and beyond to make our stay special. They surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a personalized note congratulating us on our milestone. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration even more memorable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the complimentary social hour drinks in the evening, a nice touch. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion or romantic getaway.

The most memorable part of our stay at Kimpton was the glass atrium in the middle of the hotel. It created a beautiful and inviting atmosphere, especially with the restaurant and public space inside. This venue has luxurious amenities that fulfilled all our needs; starting from the full body massage at the spa center to the snacks at the bar/lounge area. Our room was equipped with private facilities, and the location advantages were exceptional with many local bars and restaurants on its door step.

We encountered one minor issue with the service at the restaurant; however, the staff was accommodating and friendly.
